Typo Berlin 2016 // Day 3

Saturday was the final day of the 2016 Typo Berlin Conference.

We learned a perspective on the creative process from the head of BMW’s product development, Karim Habib.

We “cooked” up some hand lettering in Erik van Blokland and Paul van Der Laan’s Type Cooker workshop.

We have a new found love and appreciation for calligraphy.

As a whole, we took away a vast array of new knowledge from international typographers, designers and industry influencers. Our skill set for hand lettering and sketching improved and our minds were challenged to approach design decisions in ways we had never thought of. This was a wonderful way to begin our trip. We’re inspired and looking forward to our studio visits and trips to the Bauhaus!
